aaahhhh that hits the spot. wrong body.

The forecast if true will be shocking but not surprising. Here's a sliver of a slice from the dice thrown in the fire. Funny, Planet Management folly.

Who knows what will happen over the next 18 months as the U.S. military steadily lowers its profile to the vanishing point. Iraq might erupt in civil war, or Maliki (or someone else) might manage to clench and hammer an iron fist. (The least likely scenario is the Bush/neocon dream of a Western-style democracy taking hold along the Euphrates and spreading like wildfire across the Middle East.)

Either way, formally and practically, it's out of our control.

electric sheep dream of lethal injections

Got this from jimbot, a commentator at Wired.
Here's a taste , if you're geeky read the whole thing. Worth checking out there is an excellent click able map of blogging networks in Iran that lead to individual blogs.

Worldwide, Mousavi has received only about half the search volume as Ahmadinejad over the last 30 days. Iran, not surprisingly, is the location of the most searches of the two rivals, followed by Indonesia, Canada, Sweden, and Switzerland -- the last three of which are home to moderately-sized Iranian diaspora populations. By city, Tehran's traffic numbers come in first, followed by Jakarta, Washington, Toronto, and Los Angeles. Persian is the most common language used in global searches, with Indonesian (Bahasa), English, and Swedish next in line. Indonesians' interest is particularly interesting to note. With no Iranian diaspora there, it is likely religious transnational solidarity driving the attention.

death clock gives

I hate the way i think. Rulers in a hurry don't have time to pack the nuke so they make a dirty bomb.

the winner of the Iranian civil war wears funny clothes

The world court jester says " Lets play a game. USSR Roulette. North Korean gun. Iranian shell."

Feels like just before WWll but faster

Just a thought, did barak sinatra win cause people sub consciously feel that this is a last ditch effort for peace before the big show?
Don't have much use for the sub part of sub conscious usually i mean it's so full of crap. Who knows what comes to the surface?

Hi!!!! Can i borrow a cup of blood?

Ace says it best on the Norks.

moments of turmoil make a mockery of accumulated knowledge

Gosh is this a good day for a new war or what? This article by Charles Kurzman is excellent cause it is not Pretentious it is portentous. Oh, it's on Iran.
Sorry for not creating a surrealistic title for this post. With the US tracking a NK ship for war contraband and other news with potentials for Big body counts i'll try to be artistic latter.

blood dropping in an eco chamber

Rachel Lucas says it well with pics linked from bostom.com. Great pics of protests in Iran. If the world has more days like these past days i'll shut this blog down.

nahhhh

Networking warfare from The Jawa Report.

From Mere Rhetoric:

A DDOS attack took down Boing Boing a few minutes ago, along with their cyberwar guide to helping the Iranian protesters. The site where they got it from is also offline, although I think that's an account bandwidth issue. In any case, feel free to distribute:
Very well distributing...
The purpose of this guide is to help you participate constructively in the Iranian election protests through Twitter.

1. Do NOT publicise proxy IP's over twitter, and especially not using the #iranelection hashtag. Security forces are monitoring this hashtag, and the moment they identify a proxy IP they will block it in Iran. If you are creating new proxies for the Iranian bloggers, DM them to @stopAhmadi or @iran09 and they will distributed them discretely to bloggers in Iran.

2. Hashtags, the only two legitimate hashtags being used by bloggers in Iran are #iranelection and #gr88, other hashtag ideas run the risk of diluting the conversation.

3. Keep you bull$hit filter up! Security forces are now setting up twitter accounts to spread disinformation by posing as Iranian protesters. Please don't retweet impetuosly, try to confirm information with reliable sources before retweeting. The legitimate sources are not hard to find and follow.

4. Help cover the bloggers: change your twitter settings so that your location is TEHRAN and your time zone is GMT +3.30. Security forces are hunting for bloggers using location and timezone searches. If we all become 'Iranians' it becomes much harder to find them.

5. Don't blow their cover! If you discover a genuine source, please don't publicise their name or location on a website. These bloggers are in REAL danger. Spread the word discretely through your own networks but don't signpost them to the security forces. People are dying there, for real, please keep that in mind...

Spread it all around like butter.

the smallest ego gets the biggest boot

Good fighting for the Iranians. I doubt they will succeed. Hope i'm wrong.
Wonder if some hardware like this would be use full?

Mini COW

Mini Cellular On Wheels

AllTech Communications is always searching for new solutions to fit the customer needs. One of the unique small mobile tower trailers AllTech has developed is the "Mini-COW." The "Mini-COW" is a cell on wheels so maneuverable that it can be towed to the roof of a parking garage and set up in only minutes. This unit is perfect for quick response communication and surveillance situations and allows you to minimize deployment time and costs when working in an urban setting.

Wonder if the cow will work as an independent network if all others are shutdown? Such as able to make calls down the street but not to other cities.

Some satellite phones would be use full too.

Ah. A care package from all Western cultures might contain; satellite phone, pistol, various drugs of local choice(never been in a foxhole-shut up, ever been scared to death for days but can't sleep?).

What would you want in a special care package?

electric chopstick

For example N/S Korea. Some third party wants to see an escalation of tensions there. From the sea they could launch a missile and hit N Korea's launch pad. Blame game begins with millions of bits of flying hot metal. This could happen anywhere.
It's not a wish. Most people my age were raised on USSR nuke fears. Ever since i was a baby. A nuclear goth.

South Korean Hello Kitty mafia godfather tells North Korea fuck you

I made up the Hello Kitty part.
I feel sorry for the civilians on both sides.

Seventy percent of North Korean army ground units are located within 100 miles of the demilitarized zone separating North and South Korea, positioned to undertake offensive ground operations. These units could fire up to 500,000 artillery rounds per hour against South Korean defenses for several hours.

I think we have x amount capability on missile defense but those artillery rounds makes the 2nd worst solution even more worst. I'm not a military expert but i am a fear expert.

Alot of this has been old news for ten years but now South Korea has signed on to boarding N. Korean ships suspected of transporting nuke stuff. Many other things are adding to the mix; even China is tired of NK, actual nukes, exporting nuke hard/software, kidnapping women and too afraid to wait for heavenly intervention or the U.N..
There is no MSM in N. Korea. There is only MM-Main Media. The people there are real suckers for the brainwashing and the threat of non compliance is severe. I'm just grate full that we have experience with freedom and x amount of education makes us too sophisticated to be duped by MSM.
Hello Kitty tattoo anyone?

Update: South Korea has not yet signed on to boarding N Korean ships. It is still under consideration.

spy sinks lovingly into obscurity in peace

A little something called logistics. This is a neat slice from the page.
They deal only in facts, but must work for men who merchant in theories. They emerge during war because war is very much a fact. They disappear in peace because peace is mostly theory.

I'm done. I'm outa here. Hope you enjoyed the Pre War Forensics Show.

Oh. Almost forgot. If you know any nuke jokes, you might want to tell them now. They won't be funny later.
